Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

The Book of Revelation

An interesting viewpoint hold that the Bible is a continuous revelation of more and more truth. Some prophecies are like patterns of truth that keep repeating themselves. Some prophecies have intermediate fulfilment and some also have ultimate fulfilment.

A large percentage of predictions in the Bible have been fulfilled in amazing detail. This fact of history gives us strong reason to believe that the predictions regarding "The Time of the End" will also be fulfilled. Many of these as yet unfulfilled prophecies are of course subject to interpretation.

When you hear about "Armageddon" and "The End of the World" people usually think about the final book in the Bible, Revelation, or The Apocalypse as it's also called. Granted, The Book of Revelation is an amazing book with incredible and specific details of Endtime events, but many get confused when reading because they don't have an outline to help them place the many details in that book.

If you imagine Endtime prophecy as a painting, the Book of Daniel draws the outline of the events and gives perspective and background while Revelation fills in many of the details and colors. Without the outline and time-line of Daniel it becomes difficult to place the events of the Apocalypse.

The Book of Daniel is the place to start - the key which unlocks The Book of Revelation. When you grasp chapters 2,7,8,9,11 & 12 in the book of Daniel it becomes clearer where to place the events in the Book of Revelation. So before continuing with this lesson it is recommended to first go through the video series by Mark of the Book of Daniel found on the sidebar here.
